What Is a Parasolid File?
Parasolid is a geometric modeling kernel developed by Siemens and licensed to most major CAD platforms, including SolidWorks, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, and others. X_T is the text-based variant; X_B is the binary variant. Both contain the same precise B-rep geometry and are widely used as a neutral exchange format between different CAD tools.
